What Happens When, chef John Fraser’s temporary restaurant installation now in its third “movement”, is trying something new for the rest of the year. Starting on April 11 and running through October, the restaurant will host a weekly Monday night dinner seriesfeaturing female chefs, female pastry chefs, and female sommeliers. The series is meant to “showcase and celebrate the talented women in the hospitality industry” by allowing them to “experiment and reach beyond the dishes, desserts and wines that diners would expect in their respective restaurants.” Girl power! (Men who need to reach beyond what they do need not apply.)
The price will still be $58 for a three course menu (plus $38 with wine pairings), but 20% of the net sales will go to the charity of the chef’s choice.
