One thing I love about New York City is the food choices. NYC is a melting pot, and everywhere you go, you’re bound to find a different cuisine. On June 6th starting at 5pm, one of New York City’s most mouth-watering outdoor food festivals returns for the 18th year – Taste of Times Square outdoor food and music festival.
At Times Square, Broadway Plazas, between 42nd and 47th Streets, the top restaurants in Times Square will be offering dishes from around the world.
ADMISSION: FREE! There is no admission fee to the Taste of Times Square food festival. Each “taste” ticket is $1 with most dishes ranging from $1-$5.
Tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the food festival and in advance at the Times Square Visitor Center and Mini-Museum on 7th Avenue between 46th and 47th Streets.

Kick off the summer with Fleisher’s Grass-fed & Organic Meats as they celebrate their newly released book, The Butcher’s Guide to Well-Raised Meat, by bringing you a walk-around, nose-to-tail beef fest, complete with butchering demos and a delectable medley of tastes showcasing bovine delights! Fleisher’s co-owner and master butcher Joshua Applestone and Back Forty’s chef de cuisine Shanna Pacifico will provide a seasonally appropriate demo on how to butcher perfect cuts of beef for summer grilling and give you a tempting tutorial on the best way to prepare beef tartare. Snack on the likes of mini roast beef sandwiches with crispy shoestring fries and Cabot clothbound cheddar cheese sauce; and grilled beef heart skewers with charmoula.
