It was such a pleasure to cook for a repeat guest and her party of a dozen beautiful women. The menu was left to our capable hands and everyone left happy. This dinner was lighter and safer than our liking, but that was intentional. The ladies needed room in their tummies to go boogie the night away afterwards

It’s been too long since the last party. Long time no see. Let’s catch up with good beats and great company. Make new friends, reacquaint with old ones, go gangnam style or be a wallflower. It’s up to you, my lovelies. Just know that these parties are infamous for inadvertently hooking singles up. You know who you are.
It’s BYOB. A bottle of liquor gets you in. Into who or what, that’s up to you. Please leave the farm animals at home.
Drink responsibly. Or not, it’s your liver. Who cares, it’s the weekend.
See ya’ll there!

Replacing Todd English’s former CrossBar space at the Limelight Marketplace, he is back at it again with Chateau NYC, a French restaurant with dishes that are sure to please. Fortunate enough to get a first taste of the menu, we were excited to see what this was all about. We were especially fond of the dish above, a perfect dish for the Summer season. Check out the album here and see for yourself if the trip is worthwhile.
Womita and Ben attempting the Cookie Challenge at our MAR31 Dinner.

Chef Danny Bowien is quickly rising amongst the transplant Chef world, making his presence known with tons of media coverage. We picked up an issue of Bon Appetit to check out the latest ongoings in the food world. Low and behold, there’s Danny again headlining the magazine with Andrew Knowlton reflecting on their recent trip to eating up Chengdu. They even have a book out publishing their recipes. With much fanfare surrounding the opening, we wanted to satiate our need to know why the SF mainstay is much heralded…. Continue reading

Don’t believe the hype. It’s a sequel. -Public Enemy
Hyped by many as the young Rick Bayless of the East Coast, Chef Alex Stupak left as pastry chef of wd-50 to open Empellon Taqueria in the West Village. A few years later, he opened to rave reviews of what many consider to be a Mexican crown jewel in the East Village. We’re talking about none other than Empellon Cocina, taco free edition. After numerous recommendations by friends, we finally caved and paid them a visit… Continue reading
UPDATE: This event has now been pushed back to APR28.
Every attendee MUST bring a dish (that feeds 10+). Also if you want to bring a friend, they have to bring a dish too. Please do not mooch, as that will be a bad reflection upon us for inviting you. Mooching is not cool and you will be kicked to the curb. Thanks in advance. :) If interested, email us with the dish you will be bringing and we will reply with the time/location.
