5 Summer Smoothie Flavor Trends

No, the crappy drink they call smoothies at McD’s don’t count. We were unamused by those. Instead, check out our Ultimate (and timeless) Kickass Smoothie or if you are feeling trendy, check out what the folks at The Family Kitchen have to say about 5 fruits you should be using of this Summer. If you haven’t invested in a VitaMix, you might want to do so. Our Magic Bullet expired after 5yrs of heavy usage and gave us an excuse to get one. At 2 HP, one of our coworkers told us, “Your blender has more horsepower than my lawnmower”. True story.

He also oversees the work of the three Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices in Washington, DC, New York and San Francisco. BUY TIX
Since the Hong Kong government abolished import duties on wine and beer in 2008, the city has fast become Asia’s leading wine hub. Hong Kong’s advantageous geographical location, advanced transport and logistics infrastructure, and rich experience in international promotions have facilitated the development of trading, storage and distribution of quality table wine in the city and brought many new business to wine traders from around the world, including the United States of America. With Hong Kong’s commitment to free trade and open markets, and the elimination of barriers to trade and investment, the city has also established itself as a top market for fine- and rare-wine sales.
Sommelier Jeffrey Andrews from the Sommelier Society of America will host a “wine bar” where he will share his expertise about wine paring with Asian food and wine preferences among Asians.

Gran Reserva y Mas: Spanish Wine 101
Now that you know the basics on the classifications of Spanish wine, we are ready for our next lesson: the aging of wine. If you pick up a bottle of Spanish wine, you may notice the words “vino joven,” “crianza,” or a few others scrawled across the label. Does it matter? Absolutely. By the end of this post, you’ll be speaking like a sommelier.
