You might not know this about me, but in addition to being an i8nyc contributor, I’m now a full-fledged small business owner. After what seems like a lifetime of strenuous (okay, awesome and delicious) recipe testing, bureaucratic busy work, and lots and lots of daydreaming, I’m so so excited to announce the launch of Lucky Penny Bake Shop!

I’m officially launching this Saturday at the Hester Street Fair. It’s opening weekend, and the fair will be hosting its own mini food festival. I’ll be selling jumbo chewy chocolate chip cookies (above), and packaged shortbread coins (below) in parmesan, salt and pepper, and mixed nut. Plus rosemary shortbread hearts, special for Mothers’ Day (yes, it’s also Mothers’ Day weekend—come by and pick up a treat for Mom!).
